Expanding Horizons: MedPlants4Vet Partners with COST Action weedingMAPs

Our common goal is to promote the exchange of EU expertise in the Medicinal and Aromatic Plant (MAP) sector. To strengthen potential future joint meetings, workshops and collaboration, an initial joint exchange with the WeedingMAPs Core Group took place in Frick, Switzerland, on 3 October 2025.

The COST Action weedingMAPS reseaches non-chemical weed management in medicinal and aromatic plants.

MedPlants4Vet is engaged in the exchange of knowledge in all areas relating to medicinal plants, from cultivation to application on animal patients. The COST Action WeedingMAPs (CA23123) supports sustainable development in the Medicinal and Aromatic Plants (MAP) sector by providing farmers with training, information and opportunities to exchange experiences on new technologies and non-chemical methods.
