There was a lot to discuss in just one day! The meeting brought together participants from across the MedPlants4Vet network to review the progress of the working groups and plan the final stages of the project.
A number of important activities are well underway. The working groups are finalising scientific manuscripts, preparing the online inventory of medicinal plants and developing the manual on the 20 most common plants. The group also discussed the stakeholder surveys, now translated into 14 languages, as well as plans for the Combined Training School in 2027.
Looking ahead, participants agreed on priorities for the next grant period, including smaller working group meetings, online activities, webinars and opportunities to present the project's results at conferences. Two opinion notes are also being developed to share the project's key messages with different audiences and support the future of herbal veterinary medicinal products.
The meeting was not only about tasks and deadlines. It was also a great opportunity to exchange ideas, catch up with colleagues and celebrate the strong collaboration that has grown within the MedPlants4Vet community.
