From 15 September to 10 October 2026, Master of Pharmacy Darija Dišić, Junior Research Assistant and PhD student at the Faculty of Pharmacy, University of Belgrade, worked remotely on the WG4 inventory as a Virtual Mobility grantee. She was supervised by Assoc. Prof. Mirjana Marčetić and worked in coordination with the WG4 Coordinator, Assist. Prof. Jelena Arsenijević. Her task was to review the WG4 tables on safety and quality for 104 medicinal plants.
During the four-week period, the grantee first familiarised herself with the database, then checked and harmonised the entries against the agreed WG4 methodology, corrected inconsistent records and finalised the data. The work showed that a shared database requires careful, continuous attention to accuracy and consistency. It was also a valuable opportunity for an early career researcher from Serbia to contribute directly to the Action.
The checked tables now provide a more consistent basis for the MP4V database and for the A and B lists of medicinal plants. The next step is to complete the integration of the data into the inventory, which will further strengthen the database.
