MedPlants4Vet Partners with BioAqua to Explore Plant-Based Solutions for European Aquaculture

MedPlants4Vet expands its network by collaborating with the COST Action BioAqua. Together, we aim to develop plant-based approaches for the well-being of the European aquaculture sector, marking an innovative step towards improved veterinary applications and environmental health.

BioAqua is a COST Action for enhancing knowledge of sustainable biomolecular solutions for the well-being of the European aquaculture sector.

MedPlants4Vet has recently strengthened its collaborations by establishing a partnership with the COST Action BioAqua. This initiative seeks to explore the potential of biomolecular solutions for the European aquaculture sector, offering innovative pathways for advancing veterinary applications, tracking systems, diagnostics, and biosafety.

A key focus of this partnership is the increasing use of plants and plant-based preparations in aquaculture. These natural solutions are playing an essential role in promoting the health of both animals and the environment. As plant-based approaches become more prominent, they are seen as sustainable and eco-friendly alternatives to traditional methods in aquaculture.
