MP4V’s ITC Grantee Shares Insights at Bucharest Conference

From June 4 to 7, 2025, MP4V grant holder Stanimir Enchev participated in the international conference "Agriculture for Life, Life for Agriculture" in Bucharest, where herbal veterinary medicinal products took center stage.

The international conference at the University of Agronomic Sciences and Veterinary Medicine in Bucharest brought together experts from around the globe to discuss innovations in herbal veterinary medicine. Topics ranged from additive efficacy and sustainability to environmental impact and antimicrobial resistance.

MP4V’s ITC grant recipient Stanimir Enchev presented a review on “Medicinal plants in prophylaxis and alternative therapy of farm animals in modern veterinary medicine” (see The International Conference “Agriculture for Life, Life for Agriculture”, Bucharest; Book of Abstracts : Section 3 - Animal Science, 2025, page 92). Participants discussed plant-based additives for livestock farming and their contribution to healthier animals and lower antibiotic use. They shared data from multiple countries and exchanged ideas on tackling global challenges through phytotherapeutic approaches. The event offered valuable insights and underscored the need for international cooperation in advancing herbal alternatives for veterinary use.
